Interesting. The Icelandic stallion that was imported in 1960 was a gray. His name was Valur fra Valadal. Since there were no other stallions, many of the foals born were gray. Many of my foals were black or chestnut at birth, but then faded out to gray. Valur had about 65 foals in all. Annie
